Anna Wintour’s on a mission to revitalize American Vogue and we’re here for it. The American fashion bible recently made headlines by making Harry Styles its first-ever solo male cover star. Now it’s time once again for the Vogue Values issue complete with Frances McDormand, Naomi Osaka, Paloma Elsesser and Rosalía. The four subjects make their debuts as U.S. Vogue cover stars for January 2021 each posing separately before the lens of photographer Annie Leibovitz.
Frances’ cover dropped first. “It’s very striking and I love the colors. I think it works for a January cover — it looks like the light from a sunrise/sunset, like we’re on the edge of something new…which works nicely for a new year issue,” approved LastNight.
“What a kick-ass cover with Frances! Love it!” exclaimed Miss Dalloway.
“Yeah, I have absolutely no issues with this cover. The composition is beautiful, the colors all work and Frances in Fear of God is a surprisingly good combination,” said youarearockstar.

Next up was Naomi. “Happy for Naomi! Well deserved for sure! Overall feels fresh. Great start to 2021,” noted RanThe.
“Yay so happy Naomi finally got a Vogue cover, she deserves it!” echoed Marc10.
Paloma’s cover was praised almost immediately. “This is my favorite January cover already. I love that Paloma is kinda mimicking the Venus pose,” THD96 pointed out.
“I hope I get Paloma’s cover in the mail, but if not I’ll definitely be buying it, I absolutely love it,” proclaimed KINGofVERSAILLES.
“Rosalía’s has that sexy touch and that’s something we don’t get to see often from U.S. Vogue,” voiced MON.
